👥 Create a group
A group is where everything lives: the members, the expenses and the balances. Make one for anything shared — a weekend trip, a dinner out, your flat. It takes under a minute.
Tap “Create a group”
Open the app and tap the big Create a group button on the start screen.
Sign in — or make a quick account
Group creators need an account (so the group isn't lost if you change phones). Enter an email and a password — that's the whole sign-up. Already have one? Just sign in.
Name it and pick a currency
Give the group a name (“Rome trip”, “Flat 4B”) and choose its currency — every balance is shown in it. Tap Create and you're in, as the group's admin.
Invite people
Open the Members tab and share the invite link — or read out the 6-character group code. Invitees join with just a first name; no account needed.
Ways to invite
| Share the link | Members tab → Copy link or Share. Works in any chat app; the link opens straight to the join screen with the group pre-filled. |
|---|---|
| Group code | Every group has a 6-character code (like AB12CD). Anyone can enter it under Join a group in the app. |
| Email invites | Members tab → Send email invites. Paste a few addresses and everyone gets a personal invitation. |
| Add by name | The + button pre-adds someone who isn't there. They can join and take over the membership whenever. |
Group photo Full plan
Give the group a face: on the Full plan, admins can add a group photo under Settings → Group photo. It shows edge-to-edge on the group's card on your home screen and as a banner on the group's Overview. On the Free plan that banner spot shows a small sponsor message instead.
How many groups can I create?
On the Free plan you can create 1 group (and join any number of groups others created). The Full plan has no limit. See plans.
